Requirements and Points to note	Registration with HPC is only compulsory for those working in the National Health Service but may be required in other fields. From April 2002 only State Registered Dietitians (SRD) will be entitled to call themselves Dietitians. Some departments in the Health Service are now employing Dietetic Assistants, which do not require registration.
